About the Role

Avera is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team in supporting and enhancing the nutritional status of patients undergoing kidney transplantation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess nutritional needs and develop personalized plans for transplant candidates, recipients, and potential living donors.
  • Collaborate with the transplant team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on nutrition and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Dietetic Internship or similar program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or obtain registration within six months of hire date.
  • Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of South Dakota.
