Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Process Engineer to join our R&D team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in supporting core expansion and continuous improvement projects. Your expertise in process engineering, process validation, and product commercialization will be instrumental in ensuring the successful launch of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the technical commercialization of new formulations at manufacturing facilities, including managing plant trials, coordinating tech transfer processes, and ensuring products meet high standards and consumer expectations.
- Support validation and implementation of premix process activities, including evaluating new and existing ingredients and production technology.
- Serve as the technical liaison at our manufacturing sites and provide subject matter expertise in powder manufacturing and process engineering.
- Travel frequently to our manufacturing partner sites to represent R&D and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Collect and analyze process and quality data from manufacturing partners and 3rd-party laboratories to generate final validation reports.
- Identify process challenges, perform root cause analysis, and recommend technical solutions to mitigate gaps.
- Develop and implement best manufacturing practices and SOPs to drive continuous improvement at manufacturing sites.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with specialization in Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in technical commercialization of beverage products, including experience in powder formulation development and high-speed powder blending facilities.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Frequent domestic and international travel to manufacturing facilities.
