Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating biological packaging lines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Operate assigned equipment, including PLC-controlled packaging lines and vision systems
  • Maintain accurate records, including timecards, batch records, and logbooks
  • Clean production equipment and facilities, adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Set up and disassemble packaging equipment, ensuring efficient production processes
  • Apply the metric system to assigned process calculations, ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
  • Practice good safety techniques, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent, plus 6-12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures, apply general math skills, and understand mechanical skills
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and move up and down stairs/ladders
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical school certificate or 1-2 years of college
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with vision systems and robotic fillers
  • Knowledge of PC using Windows-based applications
