Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests with their pet care needs, and promoting a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with guests, utilizing your acquired skills and training to provide a great experience.
  • Assist guests in selecting the right merchandise for their pets, demonstrating a high level of interest in animal welfare and health.
  • Process transactions efficiently, creating a positive experience for each guest.
  • Generate future business by understanding guests' needs and preferences.
  • Ensure merchandise is stocked, priced, and displayed to create an attractive store presentation.
  • Complete training programs to maintain a high level of expertise in your role.
  • Adhere to operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Ability to work successfully within a team.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Keen interest in animals and their care.
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in sales, retail, or a related field.
  • High level of knowledge of pet nutrition and sales techniques.
Work Environment

The majority of job duties are conducted indoors, with occasional brief periods outside the store. This role requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise, and standing for long periods. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pull 2000 lbs using material handling equipment. Follow all safety precautions and procedures.
