Position Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Credit Center Underwriter responsible for evaluating and making decisions on loans with Total Credit Exposure ranging from $0 to $3 million, ensuring a balance between risk management and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Loan Evaluation and Decision-Making:
- Assess and decide on renewals and new credit applications, emphasizing thorough due diligence, risk evaluation, and asset quality ratings (AQR).
- Adhere to quality benchmarks as specified in Old National Bank's underwriting policies; evaluations by Loan Review and regulatory bodies may reveal substandard underwriting practices or inaccurate asset quality ratings (AQR).
- Make informed credit decisions that balance risk with growth potential, utilizing assigned lending authority as per the approval authority matrix.
- Deliver precise and high-quality analyses while meeting client-driven timelines.

2. Collaborative Engagement:
- Provide credit expertise through a consultative approach, assisting in the structuring of loans by applying comprehensive knowledge of Old National Bank's guidelines and policies.
- Ensure exceptional internal customer service and embrace new processes and tools.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial credit analysis and underwriting.
- Proficient in independently analyzing and interpreting financial statements.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
