Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware, and store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service skills to our nation's veterans, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other food service staff to ensure efficient and effective food service operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in the food service industry.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to read and interpret instructions, and basic arithmetic skills used in food preparation.
  • Physical Demands: Requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending, and must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
