Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Specialty Staff RN to join our Intervention Center team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a Forensic Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing physical, forensic, and emotional evaluation of sexual assault and physical assault patients of all ages without physician presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and compassionate evaluations of patients, including physical and forensic assessments
  • Participate as a supportive team member to assist sexual assault and physical assault victims and provide emotional support
  • Available as needed for courtroom testimony
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in forensic nursing

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year of Nursing experience
