Job Title: Director of Financial Operations

Description:

This is a senior-level finance position responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting operations within a high-growth organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, consolidations, and intercompany transactions, with a proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all financial and accounting operations within the organization, including budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing.
  • Managing and coordinating all fiscal reporting activities, including revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational budgets.
  • Development and implementation of financial strategies and systems that align with the organization's business objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local financial and accounting regulations.
  • Management and oversight of the financial performance of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  • Management and oversight of the organization's financial systems, ensuring they are efficient, accurate, and compliant.
  • Oversight of the production of monthly reports including reconciliations as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by executive management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany transactions.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local financial regulations.

Estimated Salary: $65 - $85 per hour (Top-tier benefits and compensation structure)
