About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Bakery/Coffee Shop team as a Bakery Clerk/Barista. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and friendly service to customers, answering questions and making recommendations on our products.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our bakery and coffee offerings, including ingredients, applications, and culinary skills.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the self-serve areas and product displays.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving products, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Previous Experience: One year of experience preparing coffee drinks in a high-volume coffee shop and one year of bakery industry experience preferred.
  • Food Safety Certification: Must have knowledge of food safety and HACCP/Department of Health guidelines.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills required.
