Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective ski lessons to groups and individuals, adapting to varying skill levels and learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs that promote athlete growth and development.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and company guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with athletes, parents, and colleagues, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • PSIA/AASI and/or USSA/FIS certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Physical stamina to work in a high-alpine environment, with varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in teaching, coaching, or mentoring, preferably in a winter sports setting.
  • Knowledge of local area and resort operations.
  • Ability to lift, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently.
