Job Summary:
This is a collaborative opportunity for a Systems Engineering Co-Op to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a member of our team, you will work on various projects, including systems requirements management, design scripts, systems level testing, and firmware configuration management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement systems requirements.
- Design and develop scripts using Perl/DXL to automate processes.
- Conduct systems level testing, including testing of firmware, hardware, and environmental testing.
- Manage firmware configuration using Polarion Life Cycle Management Tool.
- Provide support to the military ground vehicle engineering group as needed.
What You Will Learn:
- Hands-on experience with automatic fire extinguishing systems used with military ground vehicles.
- How rugged environment and safety features of these systems translate into system requirements used for design.
- Internal processes used to ensure quality of system components shipped to customer.
Requirements:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Great teamwork and communication skills.
- Mechanical Aptitude.
- Baja or Formula SAE participation.
- Experience with trailer or vehicle harnessing.
- Experience with 12/24 volt systems.
