Job Title: Echocardiographer - Cardiology

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group Specialists. As an Echocardiographer, you will play a critical role in performing echocardiography examinations and providing high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Echocardiographer will be responsible for performing echocardiography examinations, including transthoracic and pharmacological/exercise stress studies, for age-specific populations. You will provide preliminary exam findings to Cardiologists to aid in the interpretation of the study and maintain all necessary documentation of procedures performed.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiography examinations according to department procedure
  • Provide preliminary exam findings to Cardiologists
  • Maintain all necessary documentation of procedures performed
  • Keep abreast of all education requirements, such as in-service programs, to maintain competency
Requirements:
  • Regional position (Hartford, Enfield, Manchester, Bloomfield, Farmington, Middletown, Old Saybrook, Marlborough); Travel as needed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years' experience preferred
  • ARDMS: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or CCI: ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer) required
  • American Heart Association: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
