About the Role

The University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our Talent Management team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and events that support the growth and development of our staff and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Delivery: Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and events that align with the University's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Learning and Development: Develop and implement learning strategies that support the growth and development of our staff and faculty, including leadership development, professional development, and technical skills training.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of employee engagement and retention by designing and delivering programs that promote employee well-being, recognition, and rewards.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with various departments and stakeholders across the University to ensure alignment and effective delivery of training programs.
  • Analysis and Evaluation: Analyze data and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to inform future program development and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4+ years of experience in talent development, training, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, facilitation, adult learning principles, and learning management systems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
