Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Hamilton Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and compassionate environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Take vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and respiration
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and safety protocols
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Document patient information and care provided, maintaining accurate and confidential records
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop care plans
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or team members
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state laws and regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA diploma from an accredited program preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working in a healthcare setting. The associate is required to be on their feet continually throughout the day and may be exposed to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases. A transfer belt is necessary and required when transferring any patient for the safety of both the patient and the aide.
