About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Sacred Journey Hospice. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring patients as needed
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the Case Manager
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Meets the training requirements of the State
  • Completed a minimum of seventy five hours of classroom and supervised practical training
  • Minimum of six months experience in providing personal care
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
  • Understands hospice philosophy and is comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
