Responsibilities
  • Led the analysis and interpretation of existing and emerging government policies and their potential business impact.
  • Represented the company, built networks, and advanced business interests in industry and trade associations.
  • Cultivated and maintained stakeholder relationships to ensure a full understanding of business needs and effective prioritization.
  • Ensured company adherence to all applicable rules and regulations related to lobbying and consultant engagement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of policy development processes in North American jurisdictions.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships with trade associations, elected officials, government agencies, and other government relations stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $122,871 and $228,190 per year, depending on experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
