Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team at UofL Hospital. As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including stroke and other critical care needs. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including stroke and other critical care needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
