We are seeking a dedicated Montessori Lead Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to empower children aged 3-6 years old to gain independence, self-confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters the development of each child. They will also provide personalized support to students, demonstrating how to use materials and activities, and offering precise language to enhance their experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe children closely to understand their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.
  • Prepare a beautiful and orderly environment that encourages concentration, independence, and deep learning.
  • Cultivate independence and self-confidence by helping children 'do it all by themselves.'
  • Provide individual and small-group lessons to support each child's development in practical skills, literacy, math, and more.
  • Form personal connections with each child and cultivate a community of respect.
  • Communicate and collaborate respectfully with parents to provide the best possible support for every child.
