Your Role as a Respite Care Provider

As a Respite Care Provider, you will play a vital role in providing temporary relief to parents/guardians/primary caregivers of youth and adolescents facing behavioral health challenges or severe emotional disturbances. You will work within our community-based program, delivering services directly to clients in their homes and within the community setting.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide compassionate and supportive care to youth and adolescents with behavioral health needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Engage in therapeutic activities and support emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals involved in the client's care.
  • Document client interactions and progress accurately and thoroughly.
