Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary:
A registered nurse at Baptist Health in North Little Rock is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the wound care department. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care to patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and effective communication skills to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the wound care department
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wound care practices and research
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Arkansas
- BSN degree preferred
- Basic knowledge and skills to meet the standard of care
- Ability to work as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team
- Healthcare CPR certification required
Work Schedule:
This position will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
