Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention Manager to join our team at Humboldt Park Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and monitoring healthcare-associated infections, as well as developing and implementing infection prevention strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the organizational infection prevention program
  • Conduct daily surveillance and prepare reports for designated committees
  • Develop and interpret infection prevention and control policies and protocols
  • Communicate infection prevention information and data to various committees and healthcare workers
  • Assess and develop educational objectives, goals, and strategies for infection prevention
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infection prevention or a related field
  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's in Public Health or Nursing preferred
  • Certificate of Infection Control (CIC) or within 1 year of hire
