We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician - Senior Health Specialist to join our team at Variety Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary health care to our patients, with a focus on geriatric medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Examine and treat patients of all ages, with a focus on geriatric care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to prevent and manage chronic diseases.
- Prescribe and administer medications, as well as perform routine vaccinations and minor procedures.
- Provide education and guidance to patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a family practice residency program.
- Board certification in family medicine or geriatric medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
This position requires the ability to lift at least 25 pounds and to assist patients onto and off of exam tables when necessary.
