Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Host/Hostess to join our team at Xperience XRG. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. Your warm smile, attentive nature, and ability to multitask will ensure that our guests feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Greet guests immediately upon arrival, inform them that their table is ready, and invite them to their seat.
  • Drink Service: Carry guests' drinks to their seats/tables from the bar area and transfer their tab to the table if needed.
  • Table Management: Utilize all tables on a rotation to achieve the highest turnaround of guests and maintain a smooth flow of the restaurant.
  • Host Stand Organization: Keep the host stand well-organized and stocked at all times.
  • Furniture Movement: Move furniture as directed by management, including tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, equipment, etc.
  • Guest Concerns: Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude and escalating to management when necessary.
  • Side Work Duties: Complete opening/running/closing side work duties as assigned and assist teammates with these tasks upon request.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proof of Eligibility: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Work Cards: Possession of or the ability to possess all state-required work cards.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of related experience is required.
  • Skills: Familiarity with Opentable, proper lifting techniques, guest relations, sanitation and safety, safe alcohol service, full-service restaurant operations, and effective communication skills.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Varying Shifts: Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
