About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Technician I to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, restocking shelves, and providing excellent customer service to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels and identifying slow-moving items.
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment.
  • Perform cycle counts and other inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Notify supervisors of any out-of-date or slow-moving inventory, and assist in implementing solutions to address these issues.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting support for automated inventory management systems.
  • Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers, either in person or via phone or email.
  • Process shipments and deliveries, and assist with packing case carts as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in supply chain or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and software, including Lawson and 3rd party systems.
