Job Overview

Position Objective

Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by surpassing expectations and fulfilling the company's commitments through the efficient and profitable execution of our fire, water, and contents restoration services.

Oversee the effective and profitable management of all tasks necessary to process contents and restore affected personal belongings to their original state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage estimates from subcontractors
  • Onboard new clients
  • Finalize content projects with clients
  • Organize laborers and cleaners in collaboration with the scheduler
  • Coordinate subcontractors with the scheduling team
  • Maintain a stock of materials required for contents restoration projects
  • Oversee the packing and cataloging of damaged items for processing
  • Perform hands-on production work as necessary
  • Conduct minor repairs on equipment
  • Engage with clients and conduct in-home evaluations as required
  • Keep project documentation organized
  • Ensure technicians meet their daily performance targets
  • Train new and existing content leads and technicians
  • Uphold safety standards with equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
  • Manage and dispose of total loss inventory

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A college degree is preferred, or four (4) years of experience in the cleaning/restoration industry with a High School diploma or GED. Supervisory experience is advantageous.

Advanced technical skills, experience, and certifications in contents packing and processing are essential.

  • Mathematical skills

Competent in mathematics, capable of translating remaining work into manpower planning and project timelines, as well as assessing labor time reporting and job costs.

  • Computer skills

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer software, particularly MS Word and Excel. Familiarity with Xactimate software is a plus.

  • Listening skills

Skilled in receiving feedback and probing for additional information, providing timely responses.

  • Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

No specific certifications are required for this position.

Physical Requirements

While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands for handling, reach with arms, and communicate verbally. Frequent standing and walking are required, along with the ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.

Work Environment

  • Daily exposure to the workshop where vehicles and equipment are maintained and contents are processed. The employee may encounter environments with standing water, sewage, lack of utilities, fire damage, and mold.
  • The noise level in the work environment can range from moderate to high.
