Responsibilities
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective nursing care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family satisfaction under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include:
  • Evaluating patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
  • Administering medications and performing treatments per physician orders.
  • Supervising and monitoring patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending LPN licensure.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
