We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Care Partner to join our team at Christian Living Communities. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the daily personal care needs of our residents are met with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care services to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and attending to daily living needs.
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with established procedures and under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Anticipate and identify resident care needs, reporting to supervisors as necessary.
- Respond to the needs of family members and maintain open communication with supervisors and peers.
- Monitor the safety and well-being of residents, reporting any concerns or issues to supervisors.
- Medication certification (QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One year of experience in elder care preferred
- Proficient computer skills and strong self-management and organization skills
- Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality
This role requires moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, and grasping, with occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting. You may be exposed to blood-borne pathogens, body excretions, and communicable diseases. A strong ability to multitask and handle competing deadlines is essential.
