Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Panasonic Avionics Corporation. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for our in-flight entertainment products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for in-flight entertainment products, including thermal, structural, acoustic, and EMI/ESD analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement test methods and procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to engineering analysts and other teams as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and apply this knowledge to improve product design and development.
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with an MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design, development, and testing of mechanical systems.
  • Expertise in CAD design tools, such as Pro/E (Wildfire/Creo) and 3D modeling and rendering tools, such as Rhinoceros 3D.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, documentation, and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide technical expertise and support as needed.
