Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Installation Specialist to join our team at The Green Air Group LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining Plumbing Systems: Troubleshoot and repair clogged drainpipes, traps, and other plumbing fixtures to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components to ensure water distribution and wastewater disposal systems are functioning properly.
  • Site Preparation: Create openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe installations, using a range of hand tools and power tools to ensure precise and efficient work.
  • Plumbing Repairs and Replacements: Conduct thorough inspections to identify areas requiring repair or replacement, and execute tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Shop and Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our plumbing shop and vehicles to ensure a professional and efficient work environment.
  • Fixture Installation and Repair: Install and repair various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
  • System Installation and Repair: Install and repair water, waste disposal, drainage, and gas systems, as well as plumbing fixtures like sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Pre-Installation Planning: Thoroughly examine building plans and working drawings to determine required work tools and equipment, and plan the most effective sequence of installations.
Requirements:
  • Materials and Equipment: Proficiently utilize a variety of materials, including lead, rosin, wax, sealer, solder nuts, bolts, lampwick, pipe fittings, couplings, caulking, muriatic acid, and sulfuric acid, as well as screws and pipe dope.
  • Cleaning and Replacement: Conduct cleaning and replacement tasks for plaster, grease, and drainage traps.
  • Commercial-Grade Equipment: Skillfully handle commercial-grade equipment, including sinks and dishwashers, and perform repair work on gas-fired appliances like stoves, hot water heaters, and gas piping replacements.
  • Heating Systems: Possess a solid understanding of heating systems, including their function and operation.
  • Pipe Cutting and Threading: Demonstrate experience in cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torches, and threading machines.
