Oncology Care Provider

Swedish Cancer Institute is seeking a skilled Oncology nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its team. As an Oncology provider, you will be embedded within a busy cancer center/infusion center, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage urgent oncology situations and provide real-time education to patients and their families about cancer therapies and diagnoses.
- Function independently as an extension of the treating physician, making decisions and taking actions to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Triaging patients from Oncology clinics via an Immediate Care Clinic, which is embedded within the Treatment Center.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- No call requirements, allowing for a better work-life balance.
- The opportunity to build upon a brand-new Immediate Care Oncology clinic model with other Advanced Practice Clinicians.
- A 4-day work week with flexibility and rotating weekend coverage.
- Competitive compensation, with hourly rates between $58.75 and $73.06.
