About the Role

Swedish Cancer Institute is seeking a skilled Oncology nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its team. As an Oncology provider, you will be embedded within a busy cancer center/infusion center, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage urgent oncology situations and provide real-time education to patients and their families about cancer therapies and diagnoses.
  • Function independently as an extension of the treating physician, making decisions and taking actions to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Triaging patients from Oncology clinics via an Immediate Care Clinic, which is embedded within the Treatment Center.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
