Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer - Backend, you will work closely with our cross-functional team to design, architect, and develop robust, high-performance data-intensive SaaS platforms.

You will be responsible for solving complex infrastructure-related problems with code, developing and providing post-release support for scalable applications, and driving technology design and architecture solutions.

This position offers a unique opportunity to master your craft under the guidance of technical experts in their field, work with autonomy to solve challenges, and see your work in action as the largest companies in the world use your code to succeed in their eCommerce goals.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Backend Software, DevOps, and/or SRE positions
  • 4+ years of experience with PHP, GoLang, Python, or similar programming language
  • 3+ years working in Linux-based environments
  • 2+ years in any CI/CD platform (required, Jenkins a bonus)
  • 2+ years Docker or similar containerization technology
  • 2+ years experience with MySQL or a similar technology
  • Cloud Platform familiarity is a bonus (GCP specifically)
  • Experience with Full-stack observability tools like New Relic is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of database schema design, caching, and scalability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $147,000 USD per year, based on industry standards and market rates.
