About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ML Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce monetary losses, and enhance customer trust.

Key Responsibilities

As an ML Risk Analyst, you will:

  • Develop and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and systems
  • Build prototypes and explore conceptually new solutions
  • Define and conduct experiments to validate or reject hypotheses
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to Product and Tech teams
  • Maintain technical documentation and communicate results to diverse audiences

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of experience
  • Programming skills in Java, C++, Python, or a related language
  • Experience in algorithms and data structures, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing

The estimated salary for this position is around $200,000 per year, based on industry standards and Amazon's compensation practices.
