The role involves the comprehensive investigation, assessment, negotiation, and resolution of claims that range from moderate to high complexity. This is achieved through diligent research, effective negotiation, and direct interaction with both insured individuals and claimants, adhering to established claims protocols and relevant state regulations.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling auto liability claims or at least 1 year of experience in bodily injury claims is preferred.
• Possession of a Multi-line Texas Adjuster's license.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business software.
• Capability to draft reports and correspondence independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Claims Investigation: Engage with witnesses, medical professionals, legal representatives, and law enforcement to collect evidence and review medical documentation.
• Damage Assessment: Evaluate medical expenses, lost wages, and other costs associated with the injury.
• Settlement Negotiation: Responsible for negotiating settlements with the injured parties or their legal representatives.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular updates with clients regarding their claim status and address any inquiries they may have.
• Claims Documentation and Compliance: Ensure thorough documentation of all claim aspects, including investigations, damage assessments, and settlement discussions, while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
