We are seeking a dedicated Endocrinology Physician to join a well-established practice. This opportunity offers a chance to step into a full practice as one of our physicians has recently retired.
Key Highlights:
- Opportunity to work in a two-physician practice with potential for expansion to a four-physician group.
- Ideal for both experienced physicians and new graduates.
- Proficiency in performing thyroid biopsies is required.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
- The practice is equipped with four examination rooms.
- We are in the process of hiring two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to support the team.
- Hospitalist services are available, and both physicians enjoy inpatient care.
- On average, the practice sees 25 patients daily.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used: Athena.
- In-office lab capabilities include blood sugar and A1C testing; additional tests are sent to Providence lab and LabCorp, with results available the next day or same day.
- Thyroid biopsies are performed in-office.
- Patient demographics: 45% Medicare, 50% Commercial, 5% Medicaid.
- The practice is conveniently located on a hospital campus, allowing for easy access.
- Call schedule: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
- Must be capable of providing both inpatient and outpatient care.
- A diabetes educator and diabetes education clinic are available on campus.
- Technology is in place to download data from insulin pumps and glucometers.
