  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure the freshness of orders and proper handling of out-of-stock items.
  • Ensure the efficient processing of return-to-stock items, prioritizing refrigerated and perishable goods.
  • Exemplify exceptional customer service and utilize product knowledge to provide solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage store expenses through prudent ordering and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize company tools such as financial reports and inventory systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of department appearance, quality, safety, and sanitation.
  • Understand and implement scheduling, sales projections, and all necessary operational functions.
  • Identify and rectify unsafe conditions to prevent accidents.
  • Document and report any incidents involving associates or customers in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Uphold security standards within the store.
  • Complete required training programs and courses.
  • Recognize team achievements and provide constructive feedback to foster service excellence and sales growth.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Welcome each customer warmly, using their name when possible.
  • Assist customers in need by offering to take their orders to their vehicles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the parking area.
  • Report any equipment issues to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and merchandising preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and technical requirements.
  • Ability to utilize technical information to resolve issues.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for specific job functions.
  • Certification as a Food Safety Manager is preferred or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform occasional walking.
  • Capable of pushing or pulling weights up to 75 pounds and maneuvering larger items with equipment.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift items of varying weights.
  • Comfortable handling cleaning materials and substances.
  • Ability to reach and grasp at various levels.
  • Meet established activity standards for the role.
  • Tolerate extreme temperatures for short durations.
  • Visual acuity to review documents and invoices.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in using computers and communication systems necessary for job functions.
  • Experience with handheld devices for order processing and inventory management.
