We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Unit at Northeast Baptist Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and other data to identify potential complications and take appropriate action.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Two years of experience in acute care, preferably in a telemetry or critical care unit.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Two years of experience in a medical/surgical or telemetry unit.
