The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Pediatric Nephrology is recognized as the leading pediatric nephrology program in Northeast Ohio, demonstrating a robust commitment to research. Our team includes NIH-funded members and actively participates in prominent national research networks such as CKID, NAPRTCS, SCOPE, IROC, NEPTUNE, CURE-GN, and PNRC (formerly MWPNC). Currently, our Center is staffed by four board-certified pediatric nephrologists and one nurse practitioner, with plans to expand to include additional board-certified pediatric nephrologists. Supported by 15 dedicated personnel, our team conducts over 4,000 outpatient visits and 1,700 dialysis treatments annually, including outpatient dialysis at a specialized pediatric unit.
Our pediatric nephrologists collaborate closely with pediatric urologists, top-tier adult nephrology and kidney transplant specialists, and the Lerner Research Institute, fostering an environment conducive to clinical care and comprehensive research.
