Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Attorney to join our team at Insight Hospital and Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare litigation and managed care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple cases related to managed care and healthcare issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering legal advice and coordinating case-related activities.
  • Oversee regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct detailed legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration proceedings, and settlement negotiations.
  • Provide significant case management and client counseling, coordinating with associates and staff.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in managed care and healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing of the New Jersey State Bar.
  • 2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex litigation and arbitration.
  • Experience with managed care or healthcare is required.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple cases and manage regulatory or compliance matters.
  • Strong client counseling and case management skills.
  • Exceptional academic credentials.
  • Advanced writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
