Overview

Clean Harbors is a leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services. As a Heavy Duty Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy and light-duty trucks for hazardous waste clean-up at customer sites.


Job Description

This role emphasizes health and safety, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while assisting field laborers as needed. The successful candidate will operate a variety of Class A trucks, perform loading and unloading tasks, and maintain daily logs and reports.


Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
  • Properly placard vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations
  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
  • Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules

Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to use various mobile devices
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements
