Job Title: Multifamily Property Director

Salary:$75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Multifamily Property Director in Fridley, MN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our properties by driving occupancy rates, maintaining resident relations, and overseeing property operations.

Your primary duties will include:

• Achieving property performance goals set by management.
• Maintaining strong resident relations, ensuring residents are satisfied with the community.
• Overseeing the leasing of apartments and ensuring occupancy rates are maintained.
• Directing property operations and staff in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Supervising maintenance staff to ensure work orders, building repairs, and corrective maintenance are completed timely and correctly.
• Overseeing and managing rent collections and bank deposits.
• Pursuing delinquent rents and evictions timely and aggressively.
• Supervising resident relations and enforcing all community rules and regulations.
• Working with Regional Director to develop, monitor, and achieve annual budget objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of management, leasing, and/or sales experience.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Yardi and RENTCafé experience preferred.
• Local market experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Work & Excel, knowledge of internet, email, and social media as it pertains to marketing the property.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives for new developments preferred.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have good time management skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, understanding that your scheduled workdays may vary according to staffing and property needs.

• High integrity - trusted, direct, truthful. Embodies confidence and admits mistakes.
• Ability to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: ability to walk property, including up to 4 flights of stairs, to complete physical inspections, deliver resident communications, show apartment, and drive a vehicle to visit area businesses for outreach marketing.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed, professional appearance.
