Overview:


As a pivotal member of the engineering team, you will collaborate closely with various departments within Product Manufacturing to ensure that all engineering and technical specifications are fulfilled, while promptly addressing any challenges that arise.

This role encompasses the management, oversight, and monitoring of both new and ongoing projects throughout the complete manufacturing lifecycle, executing the following responsibilities.

Oversees and manages significant new products and programs assigned to The Atlas Group, with certain exclusions for minor components or packages that do not necessitate program management resources.


Ensures that production planning at The Atlas Group is precise, current, and reflects the necessary processes for consistent product output without issues.

Establishes objectives by evaluating project plans.

Conducts technical analyses by reviewing plans and specifications, calculating time requirements.

Prepares engineering cost estimates and status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, along with recommending actions.

Attends mandatory meetings punctually, equipped with relevant and accurate data.


Collaborates closely with quality assurance, engineering, and document control on updates to quotes, revision changes, corrective actions, and engineering modifications.


Commits to working the necessary hours to effectively resolve all job-related matters, minimizing absences during standard business hours.

Operates within the guidelines of the company policy manual.

Possesses the authority to halt any production order due to quality concerns.

Reviews Product Configuration Control Information (PCCI).

Examines the Bill of Material (BOM) for products.

Assesses planned operational support requirements, including tooling and vendors.

Engages in continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensures that both engineering department and company objectives are achieved.

Adheres to company policies and safety regulations.

Exhibits a professional demeanor, appearance, and conduct.

Qualifications:

Language Proficiency:

Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Familiarity with MRP systems

Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures, along with process enhancement

Familiarity with customer specifications

Understanding of the customer's website
