Rocky River Public Library is in search of an enthusiastic and skilled Technology Education Facilitator to enhance our educational offerings. This role is pivotal in crafting and executing technology training initiatives for both library personnel and community members. The perfect candidate will possess a robust technological background, a fervor for education, and the capability to evaluate and address the shifting technological demands of our community.

Throughout the years, Rocky River Public Library has transformed from a serene space for knowledge acquisition into a lively educational hub for individuals of all ages. Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement technology training sessions for library staff and the public.
- Develop and curate training resources, including printed materials, online tools, and instructional videos.
- Assist in organizing and scheduling technology workshops.
- Conduct community evaluations to identify technology trends and educational needs.
- Provide personalized technology support through Individual Technology Appointments.
- Manage the Public Computer Room operations, assisting patrons and ensuring equipment functionality.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Technology Training Manager on special projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in adult education, preferably in a classroom environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and other relevant technology applications.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Prior experience in a library setting is advantageous.
