Job Summary

HealthPartners is seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team at the state-of-the-art HealthPartners Neuroscience Center. As a key member of our Department of Neurology, you will provide expert neuropsychological assessment and evaluation services to adults and geriatrics with a focus on neurodegenerative disease, including atypical dementias and movement disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and evaluations for patients referred by neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, medical spine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and other specialties.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges associated with neurodegenerative disease.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, physiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in research and education initiatives within our robust scientist-practitioner neuroscience program.
  • Train and supervise staff, including neuropsychology practicum students.
  • Develop and implement community education programs to promote awareness and understanding of neurodegenerative disease.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology or a related field.
  • Completion of a supervised neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship program in accordance with the Houston guidelines.
  • Licensure as a psychologist in the State of Minnesota.
  • Two or more years of work experience after fellowship.
  • Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
  • Special interest or expertise in neurodegenerative disease and early diagnosis of memory loss and movement disorders.
  • Experience practicing as a neuropsychologist in a neuroscience medical setting, working collaboratively with specialty physicians.
