Job Summary:

The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Sciences at Children's Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience with diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of disabilities/disorders, including developmental delay, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, genetic abnormalities, and behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach residents and fellows in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Maintain a clinical schedule
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects

Requirements:

  • Board-eligible/board-certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician
  • Experience with diagnosis and treatment of developmental disabilities/disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
