Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently sort and categorize materials including paper, plastics, glass, and organic waste.
  • Supervise, organize, and execute the collection and disposal of waste and recyclable materials.
  • Work diligently to manage waste during consecutive events, emphasizing the removal of non-compostable items.
  • Engage in heavy lifting and transport materials to designated locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
  • Provide training and oversight to team members on operational procedures.
  • Handle materials as necessary.
  • Remain on your feet for a minimum of 7 hours daily, with scheduled breaks.
  • Collect trash, recyclables, and compost throughout the facility.

  • Strong commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willingness to work post-event hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in waste management or recycling.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and manage waste materials.
  • Accurately sort waste materials on the conveyor system.
  • Assist with heavy items and keep the work area organized.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Prepared to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Team-oriented with a positive demeanor.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a high-energy environment.
