Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships;
- Overseeing the preparation and review of technical documents, including proposals, reports, engineering designs, and presentations;
- Engaging in meetings with clients and regulatory agencies;
- Committing to the mentorship, training, and career development of team members;
- Leading project management efforts, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, quality standards, client satisfaction, and profitability;
- Conducting fieldwork as necessary, including site visits, contractor oversight, and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering; geology; hydrogeology; or a related discipline (required);
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred);
- Professional certification (e.g., P.E., P.G., LSP, etc.) (required).
Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years (10+ preferred) of experience in environmental consulting or a related field (required);
- Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams (required);
- Proven track record in client development and management (required);
- Strong leadership capabilities (required);
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines (required);
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred);
- Willingness to perform fieldwork and travel as needed (required);
- Valid U.S. driver's license with a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required).
