Job Title: Behavior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at the Center for Learning and Autism Support Services, Inc. (CLASS). As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to live their best lives using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.

Job Summary:

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct 1:1 support for children with autism in various settings, including their homes and community-based locations. You will work closely with our Clinical Director and Clinical Manager to implement programming and carry out clinical tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 behavior therapy to children diagnosed with developmental disorders
  • Implementing programming set up by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager
  • Collecting and recording data accurately and efficiently
  • Carrying out administrative tasks, including responding to emails and phone calls, corresponding with office staff, and completing time sheets
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Excellent time management skills, communication skills, and professional ability to receive positive and constructive feedback
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to clients, therapists, staff, and any other protected health information (PHI)
  • Responsible, caring, and eager to learn
  • Respectful to parents/guardians/teachers
