Job Description


We are looking for a seasoned propulsion engineer with expertise in rocket engine design and development to lead our propulsion systems design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, testing, and production of our next-generation liquid rocket engines.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement innovative propulsion system designs that meet or exceed performance requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, test, and manufacture rocket engines that are reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with other product groups to ensure seamless integration of propulsion systems with other vehicle components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and technicians to support the growth and development of the propulsion systems design team.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in rocket engine design and development, with a strong background in propulsion systems engineering.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-performing propulsion systems that meet or exceed performance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of propulsion system design principles, including fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
  • Experience with design and development of liquid rocket engines, including testing and manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of propulsion system integration with vehicle systems, including electrical, structural, and software interfaces.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
