Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse Charge oversees patient care in the NICU, ensuring that nursing regulations are followed and organizational priorities are met. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, creating personalized care plans, and assessing patient responses.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and identify nursing diagnoses to develop effective care plans
- Utilize nursing judgment and reasoning to make precise health assessments, ensuring they align with standard practices
- Check nursing procedures and use research to make changes
- Demonstrate caring practices by addressing both emotional and physical discomfort, aiming to foster healing and prevent excess distress
- Completed an established program in Nursing
- At least two years of experience in the field
- Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired
