Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Mobile

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Mobile to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic Mobile, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and other preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, including advanced skilled level repairs.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance, repair issue resolution, and discuss new repair estimates.
  • Coordinate work schedule as required by customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred.
  • Basic tools required.
  • Requires demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred.
  • NonCommercial Driver License CLASS E, preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.

The Diesel Mechanic Mobile will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, and physical demands. The position requires the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
